Xavier Abraham FCCA TEP CertPFS

Xavier Abraham is the founding director of Abraham and Associates Limited. He has over fifteen years of experience in the accounting and finance sector.

He was trained and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2002 with a leading accountancy firm in South London where he obtained in depth experience in accounting, taxation and financial planning.

Subsequently he joined Grant Thornton (5th largest accountancy network globally) as a tax manager in their South Central unit where he was able to enhance his UK tax planning skills and gain experience in trust and estate tax planning. From there he went on to head up the tax department of the multinational fiduciary/corporate services provider, Pearse Trust International where he remained on the role until the formation Abraham and Associates Limited.

Xavier has particular expertise in advising small to medium sized enterprises and start-up businesses, ensuring they start their business on the right foot. He is also well experienced in dealing with non-residence and non-domicile aspects of UK taxation, and on double tax treaty matters which are particularly important for people/businesses that conduct business internationally.

Xavier holds the following professional qualifications and memberships:-

• Fellow of UK Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA);
• Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP);
• Member of the Personal Finance Society (PFS);
• Member Chartered Institute of Insurance UK(CII) and holds the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC) from the CII.

The combination of his extensive experience and diverse skills make him best placed to offer the most suitable solutions for his clients.

Outside work he is married with three young sons. Whatever little spare time he gets Xavier enjoys an escape to the country or an opportunity to do some good old golf practice – just enough to get him on to the fairway!
